    1. Proposal Options—Select one or more options to include with the proposal.
    2. Proposal Settings—Select format and language settings, and proposal templates.

Save the latest proposal as a quote attachment

You can save the latest generated proposal as a quote attachment. To do this, while creating a proposal, set the Save Proposal as Attachment switch to YES.

  4. Select the latest_generated_proposal folder.

  1. From the application left navigation area, select Quotes.
  2. Select a quote.
  3. From the top navigation bar, select Proposal.
  4. Select one or more text items. Select > to review the default text.
  5. Select Reset, then select Yes to confirm.

Configure name format for proposals

  1. From the application left navigation area, select Administration.
  2. From the top navigation bar, select Master Data Management.
  3. Scroll or search to locate Setting String and select it from the list.
  4. Select The format for quote report title. Valid parameters: {QUOTE_ID}, {QUOTE_TITLE}, {VERSION}, {TEMPLATE_NAME}.
  5. In the Setting Value String field, use the following parameters to define the name format:
    • {QUOTE_ID}
    • {QUOTE_TITLE}
    • {QUOTE_REFERENCE}
    • {VERSION}
    • {TEMPLATE_NAME}
Note

If a value is not defined on the quote, the application will return an empty string.

Zilliant CPQ allows you to choose an editor type for working with proposals:
