The UI Profile allows administrators to:
- Configure multi-language translation for labels
- Define the conditional display of fields
- Configure certain fields as read only
To perform the steps in this topic, you must have the UI Customization permission. For more information, read User Management.
Customize application labels
Administrators can maintain all application labels in the .properties file.
To configure translation for labels in the UI Profile:
From the application, select the UI Customization button.
In the UI Customization popup, on the Label tab, select the label that you want to translate.
Enter one or more translated values for the label.
Select Save.
- You must sign out and sign in again for the changes to take effect.
- The system prioritizes localized labels over the labels defined in the .properties file.
- If no localization has been configured, the labels defined in the .properties file appear in the UI.
