Agreements lifecycle
The general agreements management lifecycle supports your work with agreements at multiple stages:
Under negotiation—At this stage, you set pricing, discounts, and other client-specific details. When the agreement is ready and accepted, you publish it.
Published—Official, active price records based on which you create transactions like quotes and orders. You can’t directly edit a published agreement, but you can revise it when updates are needed.
Revised—New version of the published agreement that includes updated terms. When you revise an agreement, you create a new agreement under negotiation where you can make necessary changes to the original terms. Once this agreement under negotiation is published, it becomes the new revision of the original agreement.
Published agreements can have multiple revisions. For example, one version can include discounts for the first quarter, and another version provides updated discounts for the second quarter. This makes it easy to manage agreements for different time periods for the same customer.
