You can configure columns in Zilliant CPQ to display or capture important object data in the following UI locations:
Object list table
Object line item table

Prerequisites
To add columns to the UI:
Verify that you have the UI EXTENSIBILITY PERMISSION. For details on assigning permissions, read Role management.
Add columns
Open the customization dialog:
In the Active Columns tab, select + Add Column.
Locate a standard or custom attribute, then turn on the switch next to its name.
Note
If you’re adding a business relation attribute, locate it and select Expand. Then, turn on the switch next to the value you want to display in the column, typically Name, ERP ID, or External ID.
Select Save. The attribute appears in the Active Columns tab.
Select Publish.
Manage column visibility
Open the customization dialog:
In the Active Columns tab, turn on or off the Visible switch next to the column name.
Select Publish.
Rearrange columns
Open the customization dialog:
In the Active Columns tab, drag the column to the desired position to define where it appears in the table.
Select Publish.
Add localized column labels
Open the customization dialog:
In the Active Columns tab, select Edit next to the column name.
Go to the Localization tab.
Select + Add Localized Label.
From the Language dropdown field, select a language.
In the Label field, enter a column label.
Repeat Steps 3–5 for each language you need.
Select Save.
At the top of the dialog, next to the column name, select Back to go back to the active columns list.
Select Publish.
Tip
To display the new labels in the UI, sign out and then sign back in to CPQ.
Restrict column visibility by UI profile
Open the customization dialog:
In the Active Columns tab, select Edit next to the column name.
Go to the Visibility tab.
Select + Add Profile to Hide Column From.
Select the UI profiles, then select Add Profile.
Select Save.
At the top of the dialog, next to the column name, select Back to go back to the active columns list.
Select Publish.
Apply mass restrictions to columns
You can hide several columns for multiple UI profiles at once. This helps you quickly control what each profile can see.
To apply mass restrictions:
Open the customization dialog:
In the Active Columns tab, select Mass Restrictions.
Select + Add Profiles for Mass Restrictions.
Select one or multiple UI profiles, then select Add Profile.
Select Next.
In the Hide tab, select + Add, then select the fields to hide for the selected UI profiles. Select Add.
Select Save, then select Publish.
Enable mass update for columns in the line item table
To allow users to update multiple line items at once, enable Mass Update for editable columns in the line item tables. This allows users to select multiple line items and apply changes to them simultaneously, streamlining data entry and saving time.
To enable mass update for columns:
Open the customization dialog from the object line item table.
In the Active Columns tab, turn on the Mass Update switch next to the column name.
Select Publish.
