The dynamic attribute (DA) profile helps users hide DA values based on specific conditions. You can define these conditions in IMCExpression.
Prerequisites
Before configuring a DA profile, you should understand how to work with IMCExpression, lookup tables, and product schema.
Configure a DA profile
To configure a DA profile, you must:
- Create and activate a lookup table
- Create a DA profile and map it to the lookup table
Create and activate a lookup table
- Create a lookup table. Learn how.
The lookup table must contain the following columns:- DA_NAME
- DA_VALUE with data record type String
- Activate the table.
- Create records to specify which DA or DAValue should be hidden. Create records in the UI or import a spreadsheet in Excel format.
Create a DA profile and map it to the lookup table
- From the application left navigation area, select Administration.
- From Master Data Management, select DA Profile.
- Select Add.
- Enter or make selections to create the DA profile:
- Name—Enter a name for the profile.
- links LookupTable—Enter the name for the lookup table to map.
- links LookupTable DA Name—Enter a name for the group.
- links LookupTable DA Value—Enter a name for the subgroup.
- Set the Active switch to YES.
