Work with the new UI

Zilliant CPQ now features an enhanced UI experience. This updated interface provides various improvements, including:

• Revamped UI framework and customization. Our new UI framework offers increased customization options, enabling administrators to tailor the CPQ UI to their specific requirements.

• Refreshed product and quote areas.

To try out the new UI, ask your administrator to enable it in your environment.

Note

The new UI is available as a Beta release and is intended for early adopters. Keep in mind:

• You may encounter bugs or limitations.

• Some features may be incomplete or change in future releases.

• Product documentation may not reflect the new UI experience.

• You can easily switch between the new and classic user interfaces.

Enable the new UI

1. From the application left navigation area, select Administration.

2. From the top navigation bar, select Master Data Management.

3. Scroll or search to locate Setting Boolean and select it from the list.

4. Select Lean Interface - Alpha (Do not use).

5. Set the Setting Value Boolean switch to YES, then select Save.

6. Assign the following permissions to selected user roles:

   • ACCESS NEXT GEN UI PERMISSION—Allows access to the new UI.

   • UI EXTENSIBILITY PERMISSION—(Optional.) Allows access to the customization and extensibility features in the new UI.
