Required checkout fields

eCommerce allows you to make certain checkout fields required, such as PO Number. Required fields activate a server-side validation. It is useful to require the PO Number, for example, when pricing behavior can change between the time a user adds an item to their cart and the time they check out.

To manage required checkout fields in eCommerce:

  1. From the top navigation bar, select your account.
  2. From the dropdown menu, select Commerce Administration.
    Note

    You must have the Commerce System Administrator role to access this menu item.

  3. From the left navigation area, select Screen Configuration.
  4. From the top navigation bar, select Checkout Order.
