Create columns in the target publish entity

Follow the procedure below to create a column in the target publish entity and link it to your scenario:
- Create a column in the target publish entity.
- Add a column to the scenario configuration.
- Add a column to the Publish Price History worksheet.
Create a column in the target publish entity
- From Zilliant's IQ Interface, navigate to the Configuration tab.Note
Access to the Configuration tab is limited. If you can't access it, contact your administrator.
- On the leftmost panel, in the General Configuration section, select Entities.
- Select your target entity.
- In the Fields section, select Add New Field.
- Enter information or make selections to create a column.
- Select Save.
Add a column to the scenario configuration
- From the Price IQ Manager Dashboard, expand the Setup folder.
- Select the Scenario Config workbook.
- On the Scenario Params worksheet, verify that you've defined your target publish entity in the Publish Target Entity column for the needed scenario.
- On the Fields worksheet, locate a row for a field you want to publish into your target entity.
- In that row, in the Publish Target column, enter the system name of the column from the target entity.
Add a column to the Publish Price History worksheet
To add a column to the Publish Price History worksheet in the Negotiated Prices workbook:
- From the Price IQ Manager Dashboard, select Negotiated Prices.
- On the Publish Price History worksheet, select Column and KPI Settings.
- On the Column tab, select Manage Columns, then select Add missing fields.
- Select Show for the needed column from the target entity.
The application will populate the new column on the Publish Price History worksheet after you optimize prices in your scenario.
