Use icons for button labels

Replace text with icons on action buttons to streamline worksheets. You can use a mix of text and icons on buttons in action groups.

Use icons instead of text for:

Select an icon for a toolbar action button

  1. In the worksheet header, select Properties.
  2. In the left panel, select Action buttons.
  3. Select a toolbar action.
  4. From the Icon list, select an icon to replace the action label.
  5. Select Save.

The icon replaces the label text. The action name will appear when you hover over the button.

Select an icon for a row-level action button

  1. In the worksheet header, select Properties.
  2. In the left panel, select Row Level Actions.
  3. Select a row-level action.
  4. From the Icon list, select an icon to replace the action label.
  5. Select Save.
