System-level user preferences

Administrators can set system-level user preferences. Preferences set at the user level override system-level preferences.

For example, if you set the value for Receive Notification Email at the system level to Yes, but the user sets the value to No, then email notifications for that user are disabled.

Set system-level user preferences

  1. From the application left navigation area, select Administration.
  2. From the top navigation bar, select Operation Settings.
  3. From the sub-navigation bar, select System Settings.

Set user-level preferences

Users can set preferences for:

  • Email notifications
  • Default report templates

Email notifications

  1. At the top right of the application, select the User icon.
  2. Select the User icon again to view the User Profile, then select Preferences.
  3. In Notifications, set one or more switches to YES to set your email preferences:
    • Receive Email
    • Receive Approval Email
    • Receive Routing Email
    • Receive Notification Email.

Report templates

  1. At the top right of the application, select the User icon.
  2. Select the User icon again to view the User Profile, then select Preferences.
  3. In Report Templates, from the dropdown, select your preferred report type.
  4. Set the Save Proposal as Attachment switch to YES.
  5. Sign out and then sign into the system for the changes to take effect.
