Zilliant supports integration between Sales IQ, Campaign Manager, and CPQ to enable you to display account-specific actions in CPQ. Sales IQ and Campaign Manager design these actions to help grow revenue and margin. The CPQ integration then directly presents these actions as recommended products to sales reps in CPQ, or to customers in your eCommerce portal.

How it works

  1. A sales rep creates a quote in CPQ, or a customer views a product or adds an item to their cart in your eCommerce portal.
  2. The CPQ integration pulls the customer information from Campaign Manager.
  3. Zilliant fetches all products that Campaign Manager can recommend for that customer, and then creates a list of product groups.
  4. Zilliant uses this list to fetch relevant products from CPQ and updates campaign actions accordingly.
  5. Zilliant displays these products in the desired CPQ application.

If a sales rep or customer adds recommended products, then accepts a quote or checks out, the system updates the campaign actions' statuses accordingly.

In CPQ

After you set up a CPQ integration, sales reps can access recommended products in the CPQ application.

To view and add recommended products to a quote:

  1. From the left navigation area, select Quotes.
  2. Select a quote row, or create a quote and add a line item.
  3. From the top navigation bar, select Items.
    Note

    If you don't see this menu item, select Open dropdown menu at the right end of the navigation bar, or select the left and right arrows to move through the navigation bar.

  4. Select the View Product(s) Recommendation banner.
  5. Select one or more products.
  6. Select Add, then select Yes to confirm the action.

In eCommerce

After you set up a CPQ integration, customers can view recommended products by:

  • Selecting a product to view.
  • Adding an item to their cart, then selecting View cart.
  • Adding a configurable item to their cart, selecting Save and Next, and then selecting Inquiry.

The eCommerce portal then displays recommended products at the bottom of the page in the You may also like area.

To add a recommended product to a cart or inquiry, select Add to cart.
