Article summary

You can link Tableau analytics in a Zilliant-hosted Tableau workbook to an existing IQ Interface worksheet. Linked analytics open in a slide-out panel. Data is pre-filtered by the content of the selected worksheet row based on the configured query parameters.

Important

You must publish a Tableau workbook to the server before integrating it into IQ Interface.

  1. From a worksheet, select Properties.
  2. In the left panel, select Analytics Navigation.
  3. In the Analytics URLs panel:
    • Select an analytics URL to edit or delete it.
    • Select New to add an analytics URL.
  4. In the Label field, name the analytics.
  5. In the Workbook field, enter the name of the Tableau workbook.
  6. In the Worksheet field, enter the name of the Tableau worksheet.
    Note

For Workbook and Worksheet fields, use names from the Tableau workbook's URL. Do not include spaces.

  7. Select the Context Menu checkbox, then enter Query Parameters to pass to Tableau:
    • In the leftmost box, enter the name of a query parameter supported by the Tableau worksheet.
    • From the Select a source dropdown list, select a column name from the IQ Interface worksheet that contains the value that will be passed as the query parameter to Tableau.
  8. Select Save.
