Hide product groups and sub-groups from the UI Profile

Each product Configurator view has numerous attributes that are grouped into sub-groups. Zilliant CPQ provides the ability to hide specific attributes one by one as well as hide sub-groups and groups entirely in the Configurator view from the UI profile settings.

View product groups and sub-groups

1. From the application left navigation area, select Quotes.
2. Select a quote.
3. From the list of quote line items, select to open a Configurator view.
4. On the leftmost panel, you can view the configurable groups (Configuration, Body) and sub-groups (Base Configuration, Body color). Sub-groups contain additional product attributes.

Hide product groups and sub-groups

1. From the application left navigation area, select Administration.
2. From the top navigation bar, select Master Data Management, then select UI Profile.
3. From the list of profiles, select a profile that you wish to modify. For example, UI_Sales.
4. In the profile, select the Profile Hide Components tab.
5. Select .
6. Enter a group or sub-group ID that you wish to hide from view to the Profile Hide Components list.
7. Select .
