You can "freeze" columns on the left side of the Edit Lines modal. Doing this keeps the columns visible as you scroll horizontally.
Note
You cannot freeze columns that contain picklist, reference, date-time, or search pop-up fields.
Prerequisites
Before using this feature, make sure that the Number of Frozen Columns in Edit Modal field on the Product Selector Configuration object is visible and can be edited.
If the field isn't visible, add it to the object's page layout and make it visible in the user profile. For detailed instructions on how to add fields and check for visibility, refer to Make fields visible or editable.
Procedure
- From the Lightning App Launcher, go to the appropriate Product Selector Configuration.
- On the Details tab, in the Number of Frozen Columns in Edit Modal field, specify the number of left-side columns you want to freeze.
- Select Save.
Freezing columns in mobile devices
The maximum number of columns that you can freeze in mobile devices is limited as follows:
- Mobile phones: 1
- Tablets: 2
