Configure text wrapping in fields and headers

By default, long text values are truncated in Edit Lines modal column fields and column headers. You can configure column headers and any selected column fields to wrap text values and display content in full and on multiple lines.

Prerequisites

Before configuring this feature, make sure that the following fields are visible and can be edited:

• Edit Modal Column Header Text Wrap field on Product Selector Configuration object
• Field Text Wrapping (Multi-Line) field on Edit Prices Dialog Field object.

If the fields are not visible or can't be edited, confirm that they have been added to the object's page layout and are visible in the user's profile. For detailed instructions on how to add fields and check for visibility, refer to Make fields visible or editable.

Configure text wrapping in column headers

1. From the Lightning App Launcher, go to the appropriate Product Selector Configuration.
2. On the Details tab, select the Edit Modal Column Header Text Wrap checkbox.

Configure text wrapping in read-only column fields

1. From the Lightning App Launcher, go to the appropriate Product Selector Configuration.
2. On the Related tab, in the Edit Line Dialog Fields section, select the column for which you want to configure text wrapping.
3. In the Field Text Wrapping (Multi-Line) list, select Wrap.
4. Select Save.
