Enable action buttons

You can decide which action buttons you want to enable for the Line Items list by editing the component in a Lightning record page.

• The Edit Button opens the Edit Lines modal for the selected lines.
• The Mass Edit Button opens the Mass Edit Line Items modal to perform formulaic bulk updates to selected lines.
• The Delete Button deletes the selected lines.
• The Delete Row Action deletes one specific line.
• The Edit Row Action opens the Edit Line dialog for one specific line.
• The two buttons related to the Workspace feature must not be enabled unless you have also selected Enable Workspace.

You might decide not to enable one or more of these buttons because:

• You might have Line Items configured to show only lines that can't be edited or deleted.
• A customer might have a business policy that lines can be edited only in Workspace; therefore, all of the buttons are enabled there instead.
• A customer might not use the Mass Edit feature. In this case, hiding a button can prevent confusion.
