For the best eCommerce user experience, assign the appropriate user roles to internal employees.

Depending on your user permissions, Zilliant CPQ allows you to manage employee users' roles and permissions individually or simultaneously.

To manage an employee user’s role in Zilliant CPQ

  1. From the left navigation area, select Administration.
  2. From the top navigation bar, select User Management.
    Tip

    If you don't see this menu item, select Open dropdown menu at the right end of the navigation bar, or select the left and right arrows to move through the navigation bar.

  3. From the top sub-navigation bar, select Commerce User.
  4. Move down to a user’s row.
  5. Go to their dropdown settings under the Role column and select a role.

To mass edit employee users in Zilliant CPQ

  1. From the left navigation area, select Administration.
  2. From the top navigation bar, select User Management.
    Tip

    If you don't see this menu item, select Open dropdown menu at the right end of the navigation bar, or select the left and right arrows to move through the navigation bar.

  3. From the top sub-navigation bar, select Commerce User.
  4. Select users.
  5. From the top of the table, select Mass User Maintenance.
  6. Select the desired role and status, then permissions as needed.
  7. Select Execute.
