About accounts

In Zilliant CPQ, an account is a company or organization that purchases your products. You might create and maintain accounts for existing customers, repeat purchasers, or prospects.
To view your list of accounts, from the application left navigation area, select Accounts.
From the All Accounts list view, you can perform actions for one or more selected accounts. Select the More icon to view available actions.
Select a row in the list to view detailed information about an account.
Account overview
The Overview page provides an overview of a company account. It offers critical information about the current pipeline, sales teams, activities, and existing quotes to keep the different functions in your company informed and aligned.
Tiles that appear on the Overview page include:
- Open Quotes—Sorted by the last update.
- Contacts—Includes quick actions to call or email.
- Pipeline—Shows the pipeline for the upcoming three months and the total pipeline to help you evaluate the future outlook.
- Team—Indicates who is included in this account, based on the various roles defined in Partner functions.
- Open Tasks—Displays reminders with due dates.
Account details
The Details page provides key account information, including:
- Name, region, status, and type
- Payment terms
- Account owner
- Currency and language
- Web address
- Industry information
- Trade register number and VAT ID
- Account source
When integrated with SAP ERP or another CRM solution, details data is replicated and updated when changes in the source system trigger a delta load.
Notes
Use notes to facilitate collaboration and share time-sensitive information across your organization.
Any user marks an account as a favorite is kept informed. They receive an e-mail notification when notes are added or when identified in @mentions. The system also provides the flexibility to mute a conversation to avoid sending unwanted updates.
