When possible, Zilliant documentation avoids using biased language. We have maintained some terms to avoid affecting customer implementations.
A master-detail worksheet relationship enables the display of data from one worksheet as expandable detail records in another worksheet. Essentially, it is a parent-child relationship between two worksheets in the same workbook.
You can recognize master-detail records by the Expand indicator at the left of a worksheet row. Select it to expand and view the detail records.
In this example, Country Products is a master worksheet, and Global List Prices is its detail, with Product Id and List Price columns mapped accordingly.
Configure a worksheet relationship
In a worksheet that will act as a master worksheet, select Properties.
In the left panel, select Master Detail.
In the Master Detail panel, select New.

From the Detail Sheet dropdown, select a sheet that will be a detail sheet.
NoteOnly worksheets with no Master Detail relationship already configured are listed in the Detail Sheet dropdown.
