Refresh worksheets
By default, worksheets are set to refresh automatically when you make changes. If you prefer to refresh data manually, switch off the Refresh Automatically toggle at the top of a worksheet.
The state of the Refresh Automatically toggle is saved in your personal settings.
If you don't see the Refresh Automatically toggle, learn how to add it to a worksheet.
At any time, refresh worksheet data manually by selecting Refresh.
Add Refresh Automatically toggle
To add the Refresh Automatically toggle to a worksheet:
- Select Properties.
- On the Worksheet General Properties page, select the Show "Refresh Automatically" Toggle option.
The Refresh Automatically toggle appears at the top of the worksheet.
