Prospect users

eCommerce allows you to commission a prospect's point of contact. To allow a prospect's contact user to view product catalogs and pricing information, assign an organization unit to the prospect’s account.

To assign an organization unit in Zilliant CPQ:

1. From the left navigation area, select Administration.
2. From the top navigation bar, select Organizational Unit.
   Tip

   If you don't see this menu item, select Open dropdown menu at the right end of the navigation bar, or select the left and right arrows to move through the navigation bar.

3. Select an organization unit row.
4. Enter a dummy ERP account ID in the Prospect Account ERP Id field.

When a prospect's contact user searches for pricing information in eCommerce, the application checks the user’s related company account. If the company account’s prospect flag is set to True and the account doesn’t have an ERP ID, eCommerce uses the dummy ERP account ID to retrieve pricing data.
