Manage product scope settings for campaigns in the Product Scope worksheet. Depending on your user permissions, the worksheet will resemble the following image.
Attributes
Each product scope has the following attributes:
- Campaign Id—Links the product scope to a campaign.
- Action Type Id—Links the product scope record to an action type.
- Product Group Id—Value that maps to the Sales IQ Products worksheet field defined in the Product Field column on the Action Types worksheet.
- In Scope—Indicates whether the product scope is considered in scope for the campaign. If you select this checkbox for one or more product scopes for a campaign action, then only the selected product groups are included in a run of the campaign action.
If you do not select the In Scope checkbox for any product scope for a campaign action, then the campaign action runs without product scope constraints.
When you run a campaign with product scope constraints, only product group IDs for which you've selected the In Scope checkbox will appear on the Action Review worksheet.
Worksheet actions
The Product Scope worksheet has one worksheet action.
- Remove Out of Scope Lines—Deletes records on the worksheet for which the In Scope checkbox is not selected.
Add a product scope
To add a product scope, use one of the following methods:
- To add records manually: go to the Product Scope worksheet, then select Add.
- To import records from a CSV file, go to the Product Scope worksheet, then select Import.
- To add records automatically, go to the Campaigns worksheet, then select the Populate Campaign Product Scope worksheet action.
To apply a product scope to a campaign, make sure the product scope maps to a Sales IQ Products worksheet field. Field options are defined in the Product Field column on the Action Types worksheet.
