You can link Tableau analytics in a Zilliant-hosted Tableau workbook to an existing IQ Interface worksheet. Linked analytics open in a slide-out panel. Data is pre-filtered by the content of the selected worksheet row based on the configured query parameters.
Important
You must publish a Tableau workbook to the server before integrating it into IQ Interface.
Link Tableau analytics
- From a worksheet, select Properties.
- In the left panel, select Analytics Navigation.
- In the Analytics URLs panel:
- Select an analytics URL to edit or delete it.
- Select New to add an analytics URL.
- In the Label field, name the analytics.
- In the Workbook field, enter the name of the Tableau workbook.
- In the Worksheet field, enter the name of the Tableau worksheet.Note
For Workbook and Worksheet fields, use names from the Tableau workbook's URL. Do not include spaces.
- Select the Context Menu checkbox, then enter Query Parameters to pass to Tableau:
- In the leftmost box, enter the name of a query parameter supported by the Tableau worksheet.
- From the Select a source dropdown list, select a column name from the IQ Interface worksheet that contains the value that will be passed as the query parameter to Tableau.
- Select Save.
Open linked Tableau analytics
- From a worksheet, right-click any row.
- Select Analytics, then select the name of the linked analytics.
