Depending on a user’s order and inquiry permissions, a user can either place an order or only submit an order for review. If you have the Business Administrator role, eCommerce allows you to review submitted orders and inquiries in the eCommerce application.
To review orders
- From the top navigation bar, select your account.
- From the dropdown menu, select Order History.
- From the top navigation bar, select Placed By Others.
- To the right of an order with a Pending Review status, select View.
eCommerce allows you to perform the following actions to an order that is pending review:
- Place Order—The order will be placed as is and the eCommerce application will display a success message if the order was correctly placed. A respective email notification will be sent to the user who created the order.
- Amend and Review—The user will be redirected to a checkout revision page where products can be removed and quantities can be changed before placing the order. A respective email notification will be sent to the user who created the order.
- Reject—The order will not be placed. A respective email notification is sent to the user who created the order in the first place.
To review inquiries
- From the top navigation bar, select your account.
- From the dropdown menu, select Order History.
- From the top navigation bar, select Inquired By Others.
- To the right of an inquiry, select View.
- Select the icon.
- From the top-right corner of the page, select Actions > Update KB Version. This brings the latest configuration information from the knowledge base.
- Adjust the inquiry as desired.Tip
To reset configured values at any time, select Actions > Reset.
- From the top-right corner of the page, select Save.
