Manage synchronization notifications

ERP data synchronization jobs can generate email notifications to keep you informed about progress and outcomes. By default, the system sends all synchronization progress and status notifications. You can control how many notifications you receive by using the Notification Preferences setting. It helps you reduce inbox noise while still tracking critical synchronization results.

To manage synchronization notifications:

  1. Sign in to Zilliant CPQ with your administrator credentials.

  2. From the left navigation area, select Administration.

  3. From the top navigation bar, select Data Management.

  4. In the ERP Data Synchronization section, go to the Other ERP Data subsection.

  5. From the Notification Preferences dropdown, select the notification level you want to receive:

    • Detailed Progress—(Default.) Receive all progress and status notifications sent by the system. Use this option if you rely on continuous synchronization updates.

    • Critical Updates Only—Receive notifications only for key events: synchronization star, completion, or failure.

    • No Notifications—Do not receive any synchronization progress notifications. Use this option if you prefer to monitor synchronization progress only in the application.

  6. From the bottom button bar, select Synchronize.
