User-editable KPI cards

UI-92, UI-95

Enablement requirements

  • This feature is automatically enabled in your environment.
  • No additional configuration is required.

Description

You can now configure two different types of KPI cards: standard and user-editable.

In a standard KPI card, you specify a formula expression that will produce the desired calculated results. The value in this type of a KPI card dynamically reflects changes that are made or filters that are applied in the corresponding formula sheets.

In a user-editable KPI card, you do not specify any formula definition. Instead, a you can edit the value of such a card by clicking a pencil-shaped icon on it at the top of the worksheet. In this case, no filters or data changes in the worksheet can impact that particular KPI card value.

If you define a KPI card as user-editable, you cannot then convert it to a standard KPI card and vice versa. If you want to change the type of a KPI card, you need to delete it first and then create a new one with the desired settings.
