You can import lines into an agreement from a file in comma-separated value (CSV) format.
Import lines from a CSV file
In an agreement, select the Import tab, and then select New Import.
Drag and drop the desired CSV file.
In the Settings section, define a Column separator, a Decimal separator, and Date Format values to fit your country format.
- Your implementation team can define default values for a Column separator, a Decimal separator, and Date Format when configuring a CSV Import component for you.
- You can change those default values and adjust them to your implementation.
Select Next.
In the Mapping section, map the columns in the CSV file to the columns in the entity table. The columns in the CSV file appear in alphabetical order.
- Your implementation team defines the Mapping settings when configuring the CSV Import for you.
- You can leave one or more columns unmapped.
- After you have mapped a column, you can either change its mapping or unmap it entirely.
Select Import.
The system imports the lines from the CSV file. When the system completes the import command, it will launch a message indicating a successful import of the lines, or an error message that there are failed rows.
You can further check the details of the failed rows in the Import Log.
Check and fix the import errors in the Import Log
- In the Import Log, go to the Error File column, and select the error file link.
- Select to Download the file, and then select Save.
- Open the file and check the details of the row(s) that failed to get imported. You can fix the errors in the CSV file and re-upload the file.
