Use the Zilliant-developed Add Lines component to add lines to your contracts and price lookups. You can customize the component to include:
- Powerful search syntax for finding products to add to your line items grid.
- Pre-entry fields to filter your search results. For example, you can configure filters to show only the products available in a pre-selected warehouse.
- Automated line insertion. For example, when a user adds a "packaged" product, the system automatically adds lines for every product in that package.
- Dynamic filters that prevent users from seeing various product records when adding new lines.
Note
Our recommended best practice for enabling this component in the Lightning record page for contracts, price lookups, and deals is to place it inside the standard Salesforce Tabs component, next to the Line Items component. In this case, users will work directly in the Add Lines tab, where they'll see a list of products that they can additionally filter.
