Enable duplicate search for Add Lines

Follow these steps to enable a duplicate check for the Add Lines component:

1. Go to Setup > Lightning App Builder, then select the record page for your header (deal) on which you have the Add Lines component.
2. On the rightmost panel, in the Deal Manager Duplicate Check Configuration field, enter the name of the Deal Manager Duplicate Check Config record you created.

You can use only one Deal Manager Duplicate Configuration for a single Add Lines component. For different Add Lines components, use either the same or create new Deal Manager Duplicate Configuration​s.

If the lines that are being added are identified by the Duplicate Check Config as duplicates, the user will receive one of the following notifications:

• If the Add Line Duplicate Check Message field on the Duplicate Check Configuration record is not blank, the notification will be the translated value of the indicated Custom Label.
• If the Add Line Duplicate Check Message field on the Duplicate Check Configuration record is left empty, then the notification will read Some products selected would cause duplicate lines and therefore were not added as lines.
