  1. In the Visual Product Finder editor, create interactive hot spots:
    • Select .
    • Select an image area for the hot spot.
    • For better visibility, add pointers to hot spots. Reposition pointers and hot spots by dragging them to your desired position.
    • Assign products and their components to the hot spots.
  2. Select Save.

Upload hot spots with assigned products

For products with numerous components, it can be time consuming to identify each hot spot in the Visual Product Finder. An alternative method is to upload a spreadsheet in Excel format with hot spots and assigned products.

Download a Visual Products Finder template

In the Visual Product Finder editor, select .

Configure and upload the file

  1. Generate an SVG file with path instructions for the image. Parse this information to extract coordinates needed for the spreadsheet.
  2. In the spreadsheet, enter the values from the SVG file:
    • Enter x- and y-coordinates for hotspots.
    • Map the products to the hot spots by using one of the following options:
      • Product Name

      • ERP ID

      • CRM ID

      • BOM Name & BOM Position. As there may be more than one bill of materials (BOM), provide both the BOM Name and Position ID to identify the unique product.

        Note

If you use more than one option to identify and map the product, ensure that the information is consistent. If there are any inconsistencies, the row is skipped during upload.

  3. Select .
  4. Select a file to upload. When successfully uploaded, the system generates hot spots based on the rows in the Excel file, together with the products assigned.
Use the Visual Products Finder editor to reposition hot spots.
