Configure question sets

Learn how to configure, define, and edit a question set to include in the Zilliant CPQ guided selling feature.

Define a question set

1. From the application left navigation area, select Administration.
2. From the top navigation bar, select Guided Selling .
3. Select to add a row to the list.
4. Select the newly added row to define the question set:
   • Question Set—Required. Enter a unique name for this question set. This name appears unless you define a language-specific label.
   • Active Set—Set to YES.

Add questions and answers

From the top of the question set page, select Add New Question to define the question and answers:

• Question—Required. Type a question.
• Add New Answer—Select to add an answer:
  • Answer—Type an answer to the question.
  • Linked Question—Select the question that should appear next. The linked question appears in green.
  • Product Tags—(Optional.) Select to link product tags to this answer, then select Update. Selected product tags appear below the Product Tags link.
  • Links Products—(Optional.) Select to link products to this answer. In the Product Catalog popup, select Add for each product you want to add to the answer, then select Close. Selected products appear below the Links Products link. You can remove some products or select Remove All Products to delete the entire list.

Add question set, question, and answer images

Add images to the question set, questions, and answers. Images help users recognize products and more easily select answers.

For the question set, and for each question and answer, select Upload Image, then select an image file.

Select Save to add the question set to available guided selling selections.

Edit or reorder questions in a set

1. In Guided Selling, select the question set you want to edit.
2. Make changes, then select Save.
3. Select List to reorder questions in the question set. Use arrows or drag questions to your desired order.

Delete a question set

1. In Guided Selling, select the question set you want to remove.
2. Select Delete.

Delete a question or an answer

1. In Guided Selling, select a question set.
2. Select the question or the answer you want to remove, then select Delete.
3. Select Save.

Configure question set translations

1. Select the question set you want to edit.
2. Select for the object you want to translate. You can translate the question set name, the question, and the answer.
