Zilliant offers a pre-built integration with Salesforce CRM to help you quickly enable seamless integration for a standard scope.
CPQ screens are embedded in Salesforce to ensure that innovations are available to Salesforce integrations.
You can link Salesforce opportunities to a CPQ quote as an external quote reference. For every Salesforce opportunity, you can create multiple quotes and flag one of them as primary. This helps you identify the final accepted quote and update the Salesforce opportunity for an accurate forecast.
Zilliant's pre-delivered integration flow acts as an accelerator for instant integration. It also provides flexibility to enhance the field mapping for custom field or custom logic, based on how you have customized your Salesforce implementation.
As shown in the following diagram, integration is enabled with:
- Mulesoft connector, which triggers updates of account and contact information. It allows for bulk and delta updates that are essential for scalability.
- Embedded mashup of the quote object, which allows users to access quote details and prepare quotes in Salesforce. This is known as a managed package.
Mulesoft connector
Mulesoft facilitates unidirectional synchronization from Saleforce to the Zilliant system. Account and contact information in Salesforce, including address and account team, are updated in our system.
As middleware, it captures and facilitates additional integrations by using external IDs for mapping. This approach allows you to easily extend and customize the connection at any time. Because mappings can be adjusted, external enhancements by Salesforce do not impact the integration.
Lightning App UI
The Salesforce managed package for pre-built UI components allows you to work on quote objects without switching between platforms. With this integration, you can create and edit quotes through accounts and opportunities entered in Salesforce. These quotes are tagged as external opportunities. Primary quotes can be flagged within quote lists.
In addition, Groovy script extensions enable you to update opportunities in Salesforce.
In the Quote list view, users can select the information type to be shown as columns in the embedded view and take action as needed. Important and relevant information can be shown in the list view, avoiding unnecessary clicks to view quote details. Simple actions, such as copying quotes and flagging the primary quote, can be taken directly from the quote list view.
