About equipment

In the Zilliant system, equipment represents a serialized product that has been delivered to, or installed at, a customer location. Equipment comprises a hierarchy of components, sub-components, and spare parts.

Customers use the self-service Commerce portal to view products and parts represented by equipment you define in the system. From that portal, your purchasers can easily:

• Navigate the equipment hierarchy
• Research, select, and purchase products and spare parts
• Request quotes
