The Zilliant-developed Configurable Data Table (CDT) component is a platform-level component for all Zilliant products. This component enables you to flexibly display any type of data from a Salesforce object in a tabular format.
Use the CDT component to solve a variety of use cases that are too complex for the standard Salesforce components displaying object data in a tabular format. For example, the CDT component is ideal for displaying product group actions (PGAs) published from Campaign Manager.
Use this component to also optionally pre-filter your displayed records, and define both header-level and row-level action buttons that invoke custom event handlers.
Note
The following permission sets are required to define and configure the CDT component:
- Zilliant Platform User:
- Defines the Configurable Data Table component
- Grants a read-only access to the Data Table Configurations tab
- Zilliant Platform Administrator:
- Grants a full access to the Data Table Configurations tab
- Deal Manager Document Owner and all permissions sets, licenses, and profiles that are related to this persona:
- Enables configuring custom event handlers for header- and row-level action buttons.
Use the following procedures to set up the CDT component and add it to a Lightning page:
- Define a CDT configuration.
- Define fields for CDT and define filters that those fields will have to pass to be displayed by the CDT.
- Define action buttons for CDT.
- (Optional.) Translate CDT labels.
- (Optional.) Configure a Search Bar for CDT records.
