About SAP ERP integration

Zilliant CPQ supports integration with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP). This integration facilitates operational efficiency by leveraging SAP's robust data management capabilities.

Integration framework

Zilliant CPQ is certified built on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) using SAP Extension Suite and integration scenario ES-EXT 1.0.

The integration is facilitated through the standard SAP Business Application Programming Interface (SAP BAPI) for information exchange and supported by the SAP Cloud Platform through the Connectivity Service.

Integration details

Bidirectional integration enables Zilliant CPQ to consume data from SAP ERP and create data, such as sales quotes and sales orders, in the ERP system. For made-to-order processes, Zilliant CPQ creates materials and a bill of materials (BOM) for integration into SAP ERP.

The integration also supports custom features, such as credit limit checks and custom field selections.

From a process perspective, SAP ERP integration handles everything from consuming master data and synchronizing products to simulating sales order pricing and creating sales orders.

When SAP ERP integration is complete, the general workflow for building a sales process in Zilliant CPQ is:

1. Synchronize product data.
2. Create a quote in Zilliant CPQ or add a quote from Cloud for Customer (C4C).

4. Simulate pricing.
5. Create a sales order.
