Scenarios enable you to effectively review, analyze, and update data, working separately from your active data until you're ready to publish.
Prerequisites
You must have the Admin, Pricing Manager, or Pricing Analyst role.
You must be the member who created the scenario.
You must be familiar with frameworks and how they work.

A solid blue dot highlights adjustment groups, scopes, or adjustments with unpublished updates in your scenario. Unpublished updates include created, edited, or deleted adjustments and price overrides. The Publish button displays the total number of unpublished updates.
Import cost or price records
To set up active pricing, your organization’s pricing model in Zilliant, you must have a published framework, core data, and cost or price records imported into the system.
If your organization hasn’t imported cost or price records yet, perform the following steps:
Select the cost or price table in the scenario.
Select Import Costs or Import Prices.
Follow Steps 2–7 in Add data.
Create an adjustment
An adjustment takes a base value from the previous framework element, and adds another layer to your pricing based on a selected attribute.
For example,
Say your organization’s active pricing has an adjustment group that marks up prices by product category, and no adjustments. If you run n cost records through active pricing, the system will output n prices that are equally marked up.
However, your organization now wants to adjust pricing by region, setting higher prices where the local cost of living is higher (and lower where it’s lower). You thus add an adjustment that discounts prices by ten regions. The system then outputs n x 10 prices.
Tip
If you want to segment your pricing based on multiple attributes, consider configuring a scope.
