Scenarios enable you to effectively review, analyze, and update your organization’s pricing data saved in the Zilliant system. When you create a scenario, the application copies your organization’s active pricing view and creates a space where you can test the impact of your new pricing strategy before publishing it.

You must be familiar with frameworks and how they work.
View scenario
To view a scenario:
In the left navigation panel, select Pricing to view the Manage page.
To the right of the Active Pricing tab, select a scenario.
While viewing a scenario, you can:
Tip
To read a framework element’s full name, hover over its label, or select the framework element to display its name in the upper left corner of the framework view.
View pricing records
To view pricing records by framework element:
Select a framework element.
Beneath the framework view, select a scope tab to display a table of related pricing records. Each row in the table shows the total number of child records in a blue circle. The following image displays an example.
To view all child records, expand the row.
A solid blue dot highlights adjustment groups, scopes, or adjustments with unpublished updates in your scenario. Unpublished updates include created, edited, or deleted adjustments and price overrides. The Publish button displays the total number of unpublished updates.
A red circle with an exclamation point highlights records and adjustments marked for deletion, which occurs when you delete an adjustment. This can also occur when you edit an adjustment or override a price. The following image displays an example.

In this example, a product ID has thirty-three associated cost records. One of the records is marked for deletion.
View an adjustment’s current timeline
To view current and future values for an adjustment:
Select a framework element that isn’t a cost table or price table.
Beneath the framework view, select a scope tab to display a table of related pricing records. Each row in the table is an adjustment.
Go to an adjustment’s row.
Select
to expand the adjustment’s edit history if any.
