Set up platform and core data

After Zilliant provisions your organization, your task is to set up the environment so that pricing teams can begin managing prices. You’ll do all required configuration tasks from the Zilliant system and Pricing Plus application.

Complete the setup tasks in this topic to ensure that your pricing teams start with the structure, data, and permissions they need for accurate, traceable pricing.

 Supply provisioning details

To begin, provide the following information to your Zilliant representative:

• The unique name you want to use in the Zilliant system. This name appears in your dedicated environment’s URL as: YourName.myzilliant.com

• The first name, last name, and email address for your first member. We assign administrator privileges to that first member account.

Zilliant:

1. Provisions your environment.

2. Sends an activation email to your first administrator.

Your admin does the next few steps.

 Add members

After you sign in and explore Zilliant , you might want to invite other members from your organization. Assign roles to determine who can view, edit, and publish pricing.

• Do this now if you want to delegate or share remaining setup tasks with others in your organization.

• Do this later if you’re solely responsible for setup and want everything in place before inviting others.

Use Zilliant’s guided upload process to import your foundational data: products, accounts, transactions, and transaction lines.

Optionally add custom fields to core tables to capture organization-specific attributes or segmentation details.

Explore Analytics (optional)

After you’ve successfully loaded core data, you can use Gen AI Pricing Analytics to begin exploring insights and visualizations that highlight pricing performance, trends, and opportunities.

In Zilliant, select the Analytics icon in the left bar. Read About Analytics for a deeper dive.
