Set up framework

Your organization’s active pricing is the pricing model actively calculating prices for your organization. It is a combination of a framework and of pricing records. Read this topic to set up the first framework for your organization’s active pricing.

Set up framework

To set up your organization’s pricing framework:

1. Create a draft framework.

2. Edit the draft framework.

3. Publish the draft framework.

Create a draft framework

To create a draft framework:

1. Go to Pricing > Manage.

2. Select a framework template to start with.

   Note

   If you don’t see framework templates, a member already created a draft framework. To continue setting up your organization’s first framework, complete Steps 2-3 in Set up framework.

3. Select Create Framework.

The following are your framework template options:

• Standard Template—Cost-based framework template. Select this if you want to manage markups from costs in Zilliant. This template contains the following framework elements:

  • 1 cost table

  • 1 markup adjustment group

  • 2 discount adjustment groups

  • 3 calculation tables

• Price-Based Template—Price-based framework template. Select this if you want to manage markups from costs outside of Zilliant. This template contains the following framework elements:

  • 1 price table

  • 2 discount adjustment groups

  • 2 calculation tables
