When enabled, multi-factor authentication (MFA) requires members to provide two types of verification to access the Zilliant system. In addition to their username and password, you can require members to provide an additional “factor”—such as a code from their phone—to prove their identity.
In the Zilliant system, the MFA requirement can be set at the organization level or for individual members. If set at the organization level, you can selectively exempt members from the requirement.
MFA factors
Zilliant supports two factors for secondary authentication:
Time-based, one-time passcodes (TOTPs) through an authenticator app such as Google authenticator
One-time passcodes (OTPs) sent by SMS
Zilliant supports SMS only for select countries. Contact your Zilliant representative for more information.
Require MFA for an organization
Setting MFA at the organization level means that all members must provide an additional factor when using password authentication.
Contact your Zilliant representative if you want to set MFA at the organization level.
Require MFA for individual members
You can apply the MFA requirement to individual members. You must set this one member at a time.
