Reset data

As your organization’s business needs develop, you might find your organization maintaining unused custom attributes or working with legacy data. Pricing Plus allows you to reset your organization’s account data, which permanently removes all:

• Core data

• Custom attributes

• Cost or price records

• Frameworks

• Scenarios

After resetting data, you can add and manage account data according to your organization’s needs—without being held back by outdated structures. Resetting data helps your organization cleanly restructure business processes, reduce complexity, and improve long-term maintainability by eliminating clutter and ensuring future changes are built on a consistent foundation.

Who can do this

Prerequisites

Before you reset account data, export pricing records your organization wants for reference.

Note that removing frameworks also resets all framework elements, scopes, and adjustments.

Reset data

To reset account data:

1. In the left navigation panel, select Administration.

2. Select Data > Advanced Settings > Reset Data.

3. Go to the text field, enter “Reset,” and select Reset Data.

To import core data, select Import Data, or select Cancel and add core data.
