# Download a knowledge base

Zilliant CPQ allows you to download a product knowledge base in the Excel format.

To download a knowledge base Excel spreadsheet, follow these steps:

1. From the application left navigation area, select **Products**.
2. Select a product.
3. From the top navigation bar, select **Knowledge Base**.
4. Select a checkbox next to the needed knowledge base.

6. On the **Download Options** dialog, define the download options:
  - (Optional.) To define new trigger groups in the knowledge base, on the **Trigger Groups** tab, select the needed trigger group types and the number of sheets for them. The downloaded file will include empty sheets for the selected trigger group types.
  - (Optional.) On the **Quote Attributes** tab, select the quote attributes to include in the attribute range sheet.
7. Select **Download** to download the spreadsheet.
