Select dynamic attributes, then select **Add**. ## Add a dynamic attribute to the knowledge base class for a classified product Tip You can also synchronize classified products from an external ERP system if you integrated Zilliant CPQ with it. For details, read [About SAP ERP integration](/v1/docs/about-sap-erp-integration). You can define dynamic attributes of a classified product using a knowledge base class (KBClass). A KBClass serves as the knowledge base for classified products but does not permit the definition of configuration rules. To create a new class with dynamic attributes: 1. From the application left navigation area, select **Model**. 2. From the top navigation bar, select **Classes Management**. 3. Select ![](https://cdn.document360.io/24f960e8-3c1c-4c18-a2c6-83b6ae4aab84/Images/Documentation/CPQ-icon_add.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-02T13%3A48%3A47Z&se=2026-11-02T14%3A48%3A47Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=JXmfGShPW6svi1YHb4SouUIEcC5L6Ye0KMkP9rdhC3I%3D) to create a new class. Enter a name for the class, then select **Create**. 4. Select the created class from the list. 5. On the **Attributes** tab, select ![](https://cdn.document360.io/24f960e8-3c1c-4c18-a2c6-83b6ae4aab84/Images/Documentation/CPQ-icon_add.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-02T13%3A48%3A47Z&se=2026-11-02T14%3A48%3A47Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=JXmfGShPW6svi1YHb4SouUIEcC5L6Ye0KMkP9rdhC3I%3D) to add dynamic attributes. Select attributes, then select **Add**. 6. On the bottom button bar, select **Save**. The new class with dynamic attributes is created. Now, you need to assign the new class to a classified product: 1. From the application left navigation area, select **Products**. 2. Select a classified product. 3. From the top navigation bar, select **Knowledge Base**. 4. Select a link button to link the knowledge base class to the product. 5. [Create a knowledge base snapshot](/v1/docs/create-a-knowledge-base-snapshot) to assign the default value for dynamic attributes in the class.
