Doing this "locks" the column in your view, allowing you to keep it visible while moving horizontally through the worksheet. 1. In a worksheet, select Column and KPI Settings. 2. On the **Column** tab, select a column name. 3. In the **Column settings** dialog, go to the **General** tab. 4. From the **Pinned** dropdown list, select **Right** or **Left**. 5. Select **Save**. **Alternate method** Using the column selector, select **Pin Column** > **Pin Left** or **Pin Right**. ![pin_column_alternate.png](https://cdn.document360.io/24f960e8-3c1c-4c18-a2c6-83b6ae4aab84/Images/Documentation/pin_column_alternate%281%29.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-04T16%3A00%3A13Z&se=2026-11-04T17%3A00%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2z%2FMw7%2FkZnxsANYFWQ9Icerr%2B8Nv%2Bjpt1ttXbv3Mp3k%3D) ![](https://cdn.document360.io/24f960e8-3c1c-4c18-a2c6-83b6ae4aab84/Images/Glossary/table_60(1).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-04T16%3A00%3A13Z&se=2026-11-04T17%3A00%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2z%2FMw7%2FkZnxsANYFWQ9Icerr%2B8Nv%2Bjpt1ttXbv3Mp3k%3D) Column and KPI Settings
