Define product global settings in the application so that users can view the products correctly in the Commerce portal.
Add images
- From the application left navigation area, select Products.
- Select the product, then select General Information > Product Images.
- Select to upload an image.
- Set the main product image and restrict images from view by setting the switches to YES.
- Define a sequence of visible product images. The main product image appears first.
Attach files
Alternatively, add images in Attachments on the top navigation bar.
- From the application left navigation area, select Products.
- Select the product, then select Attachments.
- Select Add Files to add an attachment.
Add relevant information such as links and rich text descriptions, upload 3D images, and configure Visual Product Finder.
The following image shows a product with configured Detail, General Information, and Attachments settings.
Translate product labels
- From the application left navigation area, select Products.
- Select the product, then select General Information > Product Labels.
- Define translations for product labels.
Define related products
- From the application left navigation area, select Products.
- Select the product, then select Related Products.
- Select .
- From the Products catalog popup, select relevant products, then select Add.
Make products visible in Commerce
- From the application left navigation area, select Products.
- Select the product, then select Detail.
- Define product Category and Classification (Consumable, Spare Part, or Product).
- Set the Restrict switch to NO.
- Define Sales Area to determine which accounts and contacts see the product (can be more than one).
