# Create a worksheet from a database

You can add a new worksheet that will be created from the existing database.

1. From the **Manager Dashboard**, open a workbook.
2. Select **Add** in the worksheet tabs area.

3. Enter a name for the new worksheet, then select **Next**​.
4. Select **Managed datasource** to create a worksheet from the existing database, then select **Next**.
5. From the dropdown, choose a datasource for the new worksheet, then select **Next**.
6. Select columns that you want to appear as input columns in your new worksheet.
7. Select **Finalize**.
