# Configure users list

IQ Interface's **User Management** application allows you to configure which users and profiles are visible in the [Zilliant users list](/v1/docs/manage-users#define-zilliant-users).

## Manage profiles

Whenever you synchronize with the active user records in the system, the **User Management** application also updates a list of user profiles. The profile list manages the values of the **Profile** dropdown column in the [Zilliant users list](/v1/docs/manage-users#define-zilliant-users).

To view and manage the profiles list:

1. From the Manager Dashboard, expand **User Management** and select **Configuration**.
2. In the **Visible Profiles** worksheet, select the **Visible** checkbox for the profiles you want to display in the **Profile** dropdown column in the users list.

## Manage hidden users

IQ Interface allows you to hide a user in the [Zilliant users list](/v1/docs/manage-users#define-zilliant-users) that should never be edited or deactivated. Hiding a user conceals their details in the Zilliant users list but does not affect their access to the system. This action helps reduce the risk of unintended changes to specific users, including API and integration users, who must preserve their access to the system.

To hide a user:

1. From the Manager Dashboard, expand **User Management** and select **Configuration**.
2. In the **Hidden Users** worksheet, select Insert Row.
3. From the **Username** dropdown list, select the needed user.
4. Select **Save**.

          Tip

          

To add a user back to the Zilliant users list, select the user in the **Hidden Users** worksheet and select Delete Row.
