The Entity Import Service (EIS) imports data from a CSV file into Zilliant logical entities. You define how EIS should interpret the file (delimiter, locale, date formats, numeric symbols), how CSV columns map to entity fields, and what import mode to use. EIS then runs the import and provides endpoints to track status, review the report, and download an error file for rows that failed.

Load or refresh master data in logical entities from external systems
Perform bulk updates using repeatable mappings
Migrate data between environments
